Inspired By

The documentary “Almost Broken” was inspired by a web site. The documentary exposes the truth about just how easy it has become in California to get a way with abusing ones right to due process of the law guaranteed under the United States Constitution and the inexcusable pain and suffering willingly inflected on one disabled worker and his children, all because he wanted medical care for his disabling work injury. What is being allowed to happen to this disabled man shows just how inhuman our state government has become in allowing medical care to be taken away despite the fact that this man suffers from a very well documented lung injury, which was the result of breathing heated plastic smoke and dust for more then 23 years at his job. The state owned insurance carrier would go so far as to have breathing treatment equipment from his home and stop all disability benefits after they realized how costly the claim was going to be. So how costly has it become now? It will cost this man his life for lack of care.

  • Why isn't this of concern to our government?
  • Has the American worker, when injured on the job, become disposable?
