Almost Broken Director Speaks Out!
Malik
Stalbert,the director of the documentary, Almost Broken, speaks out
about the film and it's subject matter. Malik gives insight into the
battle for basic civil rights that have been violated by insurance companies
and left tens of thousands of people stranded without health care. The
target of this film is the insurance company owned by the State of California, State Compensation Insurance Fund that has legislated itself with accountability only to the Governor. To this date, neither Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger nor the State Insurance Commissioner, John Garimendi have taken steps to clean this corrupt organization. |
